Special Session and Presentations in JURSE 2023

Τhe Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event (JURSE) 2023 is held in Heraklion, Greece from 17 to 19 May 2023. In the context of this Event, the Special Session 6 “Promoting Urban Resilience through Methodologies and Tools Deploying Earth Observation Data” was co-organized by Giorgos Somarakis (FORTH) and David Ludlow (UWE) inspired by the CURE project. Also, the following presentations related to the CURE project were included in the Special Session 6 and Poster Session 1:
- “Towards Digital-Twin solutions for the 15 minute city” by David Ludlow (UWE) and Zina Mitraka (FORTH)
- “Exploiting Copernicus Core Services for Assessing the Surface Urban Heat Island Intensity” by Thomas Esch (DLR)
- “InSAR Ground Motion Mapping in Support of Urban Resilience and Regional Landscape Planning” by Jan Kolomazník (GISAT)
- “Identification and mapping of areas and buildings with high roof greening potential” by Daniel Navarro (TECNALIA)
