Airbus Defence and SpacePresentations in IGARSS 2021
The 2021 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) was held virtually between 12 and 16 July 2021. In the context of this Symposium, Dr. Zina Mitraka presented the first results from the CURE project in "TH1.O-11: Geo-information and integration for Urban Resilience" session. Also, satellite remote sensing for fine scale mapping and impact assessment of fires and mean building height estimation using TensorFlow with Google Earth Engine were presented by FORTH members in “FR3.O-1: Optical and Microwave Sensing for Mapping, Monitoring and Early Warning of Natural Hazards” and “FR1.O-8: Earth Observation Data Processing for Urban/Built Up Area Characterization” sessions, respectively.
